I’m really not the person who starts decorating for Christmas in October, but Thanksgiving is over. It’s time to begin preparing for the upcoming holidays. Here are some local events that will help usher in the holiday season.
Everyone loves Maplewood’s Dickens Village. It’s ready to go and the calendar of events is here. The menorah lighting is at 6:15 on 12/2 and the Tree lighting is at 4:30 pm on 12/4. The Lichtman Rabney Group is sponsoring the Tree Lighting!
Maplewood’s Winter Market and Makers Fair will both take place on Sunday Dec 5 from 11 am – 4 pm. See here for more information on both.
South Orange will have several days of open-air markets the next several Thursdays 1-6 pm through December 23rd at the Sloane Street parking lot. To see participating vendors check here.
South Orange’s Hometown Holiday Celebration will be held on Saturday 12/11 in the afternoon. There will be a tree lighting, live music, photos with Santa, and more. We are also the sponsors for this tree lighting – we hope to see you there!
