We are thrilled that there are so many Pride Events happening live around Essex County this year, and are equally as thrilled to be sponsoring many of them. We are big believers in the importance of visibility and the importance of supporting our community and youth.
Here are some of what’s happening in June. We hope to see you at some of these events and if you do see us, please say hi!
North Jersey Pride Events
Our friends at North Jersey Pride have organized several events during the month of June. One big event is the Pride Festival in Maplewood Memorial Park on June 12th. This is the 10th Anniversary of this festival and we can’t wait to see Martha Wash perform in our community.
West Orange Parade - June 5
On June 5th, Pride will be celebrated in West Orange beginning with a Parade on Main Street
South Orange - Dance Party Downtown - June 5
Also on June 5th South Orange will have a Pride Celebration with a Dance Party Downtown
Montclair Festival - June 11.
On June 11th, Montclair will have their first annual Pride Festival from noon-6PM.
Dance Party at South Orange Elks - June 11
Later that evening there is a Dance Party at the South Orange Elk’s Club.
Newark Pride - July 2022
If all the June festivities aren’t enough for you. Newark Pride will take place in July from 11th-17th. This is the 17th annual Pride Festival in Newark.
