Things To Do In Essex County, N.J. in the Spring

By badmin June 7, 2017

This time of year it is such a treat to be able to be outside enjoying the beauty that this area has to offer. Over the past two weeks we have seen a fawn relaxing in our yard in South Orange, walked around the waterfront at the South Mountain Recreation Complex in West Orange (if someone had told me that I was somewhere in upstate NY I would have believed them) and visited the Iris Garden in Montclair. Everything is so lush right now, it’s just a pleasure to even drive down our street.

We hit the Iris Garden a few days before it was in full bloom. You can probably still catch it this season if you go very soon. The South Mountain Recreation Center has so much to offer that it is worth a day trip even if you don’t live in the area. If you haven’t visited the waterfront yet, it’s a great spot. The walking path is flat so it’s a place that can work for almost any fitness level. There is seating along the way to take a break and relax, paddle boats and fishing areas too.

These are some of the reasons we enjoy living outside of the city now. we can take short breaks and get restored by nature. If you or someone you know wants to buy, sell or invest in this area please call us, we are here to help.
